Hi all,
Congratulations to the winners of the summer competitions, which were wrapped up at the start of this month:
It's now time for the ‘One Shot’ tournament, in memory of the late great Mark Johnson, and the 'Two Shot' tournament, in memory of John Creek who passed away recently and was an absolute stalwart of the club.
Both are simple but effective one or two point knock-out tournaments - both formats should act as a great leveller giving everyone a good chance to take the spoils! We'll also add on the doubles feature (3 points) that was popular last year.
Ideally exactly 16 people will enter - the more the merrier! The entry fee is £5 and will be taken from your mycourts account. This will include a chance to play friendlies during and after the tournament.

Afterwards, we may set off to a pub, a restaurant or a curry house. Therefore please let me know if you cannot make the meal afterward, and if you have a preferred venue for it, or if you would like to bring a guest.
